The Castle was built in the 16th  century and located in the heart of the Florentine hills : Many important people have stayed as this Castle such as Pope Clemente VII and Leone X (Medici family), Pope Paolo III (Farnese family), the king of Italy Vittorio Emanuele III and most recently General Clark Commander of the American 5th Army. The Castle has also a farm holiday resort with 10 apartments located in panoramic positions between olive groves and vineyards. The castle has wide courtyard and a open gallery (the lodge) where weddings take place in spring/summer and can accommodate up to 180 people.
The Castle’s estate produces excellent white and red wine and also olive oil and guided tour to the estate and wine cellars can be organized along with wine and olives oil tastings. Also cooking classes can be organized at the wonderful Castle.

Accommodation Facilities
The 10 apartments are situated in scented hills near country roads, 3 kilometers from the Castle. There are eight apartments in a big farmhouse and two apartments in an annex. Each one is independent and has its own front door.
